Founded in 1869, Wilson College is a private coeducational liberal arts college offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. Bachelor’s degree programs include 34 majors and 40 minors in high-demand and innovative fields including education, nursing, equine studies, veterinary nursing, and sport management. Graduate degrees include master’s level programs in education, fine arts, the humanities, nursing, and organizational leadership, and a hybrid, accelerated doctoral program in occupational therapy. The United East Conference announced its 2025-26 Winter and Spring All-Academic Team and Wilson is once again among the league leaders. The Phoenix had 72 student-athletes received academic accolades across the spring semester to bring the full year total to 129 across 11 sports.

The Wilson College softball team received some postseason honors as five Phoenix have been named to the 2026 Academic All-District Team. Madison Briggs (Sr., Lock Haven, Pa. / Central Mountain), Kayla Talbert (Jr., Hagerstown, Md. / North Hagerstown / Saint Peter's), Emily Randalls (So., Dillsburg, Pa. / Northern York), Katelyn Keller (So., Orrtanna, Pa. / Gettysburg), and Sydney Hartle (So., Keedysville, Md. / Boonsboro) comprise the quintet represented in Division III as selected by College Sports Communicators which recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Riley Lemay (Jr., Saugerties, N.Y. / Saugerties) and Kaelyn Goff (Jr., Union Bridge, Md. / Francis Scott Key) repeat their accolades from 2025 while Alyvia Henneman (Jr., Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) and Sadie Fike (Sr., McClure, Pa. / Mifflin County) join them this season.

Jalen Pierce (Sr., Richmond, Va. / Collegiate / Millersville) highlights the list as a first team selection. Leah Laubach (So., Marietta, Pa. / Lancaster Catholic), Armani Jones (Sr., Chicago, Ill. / Christ The King / Bryant & Stratton), and Jalen Bowie (Sr., Frederick, Md. / Frederick / Shippensburg) were second team selections. Jewels Torres (Sr., York, Pa. / West York) caps her career with another third team honor.

Wilson's Hamrick Named to Conference Field Hockey All-Sportsmanship Team

The Division III United East Conference named Haley Hamrick '28 of Wilson College to its Field Hockey All-Sportsmanship team for the 2025 season. Student-athletes selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team demonstrate fair play, graciousness in victory, and respectfulness in defeat. Each individual has been chosen by their coach as a representative who embodies the Division III spirit.

Jace Williams Secures Wilson's First All-Conference First Team Soccer Honor

The Division III United East Conference has released its all-conference teams and Wilson's Jace Williams (Jr., Chesapeake, Va. / Hickory) has been selected as a member of the first team in men's soccer. It's the first time a Phoenix has received first team honors in the history of the program. It is Williams' second all-conference selection after he was named to the third team in the Skye Division in 2023. He had one of the best seasons in program history as he found the back of the net seven times. It vaulted him into second in the record books for career goals at Wilson. The junior midfielder scored goals in games against Hood, Penn State Mont Alto, Penn State Altoona, and Penn State Brandywine. Three of them came against Brandywine. It was his second multiple goal game of the season after he scored a brace in a home victory against Altoona. Williams also did well to distribute the ball as he added assists in games against Valley Forge and Cairn in the first round of the United East Championship. He finished with 16 points on the year.

Wilson College Student-Athletes Among Conference Academic Leaders for Fall

Wilson College is pleased to announce that 57 student-athletes were named United East Scholar Athletes by the Division III United East Conference for the Fall 2025 season. This marks the fourth time in the past five years that the Wilson Phoenix have had at least 57 conference scholar athletes, which was a new record the first time it happened in 2022.

Jewels Torres of York Breaks Wilson College Basketball Record

Jewels Torres (Sr., York, Pa. / West York) broke the Wilson College record for most assists in a career as Wilson won its third-straight game with a victory over Penn State Berks on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026. Torres needed three to tie the previous mark of 322 set by Theresa Phelps Denhoff, Class of 2001, which stood for 25 years. Her opportunity came with a dish to Mackenzie Caldwell-Degnon (Jr., Rockville, Md. / Richard Montgomery) on a 3-pointer as the Phoenix pulled away from the Lions and went on to win 67-46.

The United East announced the first Player of the Week awards for the winter sports season and Wilson's women's and men's basketball teams both have representatives that were selected. For the women, Leah Laubach (So., Marietta, Pa. / Lancaster Catholic) took defensive honors while on the men's side Jalen Pierce (Sr., Richmond, Va. / Collegiate / Millersville) received accolades for his offensive abilities.

Wilson College Five Earn All-Conference Honors in Field Hockey

The United East Conference announced its all-conference teams in field hockey for the 2025 season and five Wilson College Phoenix received honors. Kate Seymour (Jr., Churchton, Md. / Southern) highlighted the quintet as she was selected to the first team on offense. Joining her were Lizzie Landon (Sr., West Grove, Pa. / Avon Grove), Lenoree Hoke (Jr., Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg), Payton Kendall (Sr., McConnellsburg, Pa. / Forbes Road), and Mikayla Petersen (FY, Glen Burnie, Md. / North County) on the second team.

Wilson College Phoenix Rise Up with Record-Setting 68 United East Scholar Athletes

Wilson College is proud to announce that 68 student-athletes were named United East Scholar Athletes by the United East Conference for the Winter and Spring 2025 seasons. This number breaks the record of 66 set a year ago. It is the second consecutive year the Phoenix have had at least 60 conference scholar athletes, and the fourth straight year with at least 50.

Jewels Quest: Torres Repeats All-Conference Honors

Wilson College is proud to announce Jewels Torres of York, Pa. (West York) received postseason accolades when she was named to the United East all-conference team for the 2024-2025 basketball season. The junior guard was named to the third team after leading the Phoenix in assists and finishing third in scoring. Torres is now a two-time selection as she repeats her honors as a third team selection.
