Honoring student-athletes from basketball, volleyball, soccer and equestrian teams, the Wilson College Athletics Department announced its 2026 Hall of Fame Class during the annual Athletics Award Ceremony on April 26, 2026.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's and Men's At-Large teams have been announced, and seven Wilson College student-athletes have received honors.

The United East Conference announced its 2025-26 Winter and Spring All-Academic Team and Wilson is once again among the league leaders. The Phoenix had 72 student-athletes received academic accolades across the spring semester to bring the full year total to 129 across 11 sports.

Wilson College men's volleyball standout Jacob McCoy (York, Pa./Spring Grove) has been named the United East Conference Senior Scholar Athlete Award winner for men's volleyball. The award recognizes a senior student-athlete who exemplifies excellence in competition, academics, and community engagement.

The Wilson College Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, is proud to announce the induction of 31 outstanding students, faculty, and administrators into its prestigious circle.

Wilson College welcomed new members into the Omega Eta Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing during an induction ceremony held in December 2025. The event recognized exceptional nursing students and professionals whose academic achievements, leadership, and commitment to service exemplify the highest standards of the nursing profession. Membership in the society is widely regarded as a hallmark of distinction within the nursing community.

An internship is an important part of any student's transition from education to a successful future. At Wilson College, students have access to supportive career services that provide unique connections and hands-on opportunities, helping them translate academics into action. During the Fall 2025 semester, Wilson College senior Kendi Long completed her internship with the American Horse Council, gaining national-level experience in the equine field and new insight into the industry.

The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) has awarded Wilson College a $6,000 grant to support scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. This fall, three dedicated students pursuing careers in animal-related fields will benefit from TERF's continued generosity. The TERF scholarship provides vital financial support to students majoring in equine studies, equine-facilitated therapeutics, veterinary nursing, or animal studies. With a mission to promote Thoroughbred health and welfare, TERF funds scholarships, educational initiatives, and equine research, with a priority on making racing safer.

Five Wilson College students will each receive a $3,000 scholarship from a grant awarded by The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) for the 2024-2025 academic year. Since 2015, TERF has generously provided Wilson student recipients with over $112,000 in scholarship awards, including this year's grant of $15,000. TERF's mission is to support Thoroughbred health and welfare by funding scholarships, educational programs, and equine research with a priority to make racing safer. Students majoring in equine studies, equine-facilitated therapeutics, veterinary nursing, or animal studies, are eligible for the awards, which are granted based on student need, academic achievement, and equine-related aspirations.
